Capturing California

While living in California, I spent much of my time with a very heavy camera slung over my shoulder. This series includes some of my favorite shots taken over the course of a year in a city where I knew almost no one. It features portraits of artist Don Gialanella in his LA studio, snapshots taken at the top of a mountain in Big Bear, sculptures from the Getty Museum, and one very cranky dog.
