Wireframes & Rapid Prototyping
“How Not To Be a Jerk" was designed as a cultural guide, based on country, that breaks down the gestures and behaviors that are considered offensive. This is an example of rapid design iteration, which allowed me to explore a core concept quickly, work out user interaction, and provide a proof of concept with almost no budget and in a very short time.
This app would allow travelers to look up any given country, both geographically and alphabetically, in order to explore a country's customs. After the user has selected a country he/she can scroll through a database of gestures and behaviors that are considered offensive in that country. The user can then select a gesture/behavior for an explanation on why it is considered distasteful.
